THE ATON FAMILY TOOK THE FIRST TWO PLACES AT STIFTUNG WARENTEST 11/2017.
Bayreuth, October 2017 – The Cybex Aton M i-Size with appropriate Base M is test winner at the European child car seat testing from Stiftung Warentest and ADAC in October 2017. Second in the test is Cybex Aton M i-Size. 16 products were tested in total. Including the best in tests Cybex Aton 5 (05/2017) and Cybex Cloud Q (06/2015) there are now three test winners within the range of infant carriers. This shows how well-positioned Cybex is in this area.
The following functionalities in different categories are responsible for the excellent result of the Cybex Aton M i-Size with Base M:
• Safety (1,3): The integrated linear side-impact protection (L.S.P.) in combination with the energy- absorbing shell offer maximum protection. ADAC finds that the Cybex Aton M i-Size with Base M has a very low risk of injury in a side collision.
• Handling (1,8): The Cybex Aton M i-Size with Base M is clicked into the base fast and easy. Installation indicators help to reduce any possible misuse. If a car comes without ISOFIX the Aton M i-Size can also be installed with the vehicle belt. The buckling up of a child is also very easy.
• Ergonomics (1,8): The child car seat offers a 11-position height-adjustment with an integrated strap guide. This allows the seat to grow with the child. A removable newborn inlay ensures a near lie-flat position for premature and small babies.
The Cybex Aton M i-Size belted received a “good” in the same test 11/2017 and is second in row with an overall rate of 1,8. Responsible for this result are the categories Safety (1,7) and Ergonomics (1,6) in particular.
The Cybex Aton M i-Size is suitable for newborns and babies at a height of 45 cm to 87 cm (max. 13 kg). It is part of the Cybex i-Size M-Line modular system and can be clicked onto the same base – base M – like the child car seat Sirona M2 i-Size. Children are therefore transported safely and rearward-facing from birth up to approx. 4 years of age.
The Sirona M 2 i-Size received good results with Stiftung Warentest 11/2016 as well.
